This site is really about my bees.

I have only been keeping bees for less than a year and the beeyard has grown from one nuc to twelve hives.  The plan was to have two hives and one nuc.  So much for plans.

My intent for this Spring is to have eight production hives (hive making honey) and four nucs (smaller hives from which I will take frames of brood and strengthen the production hives).  Once again, this is my plan.  We will have to see how many hives make it through the Winter (such as it is in Florida).
